The Youth Services Division in Berlin offers the following services:
Assessment, Case Management, & Referral
Individuals and families needing help with a variety of problems, including mental health issues, homelessness, delinquency, running away, abuse, school problems, etc, can receive help in identifying the appropriate services for their situation and gaining access to them.
Outdoor Education & Leadership Training
Berlin Youth Services and Berlin Upbeat collaborate each year to provide an adventure-based outdoor education and leadership program during the summer. The program is open to middle and high school students from Berlin. For an application or more information, please email summeradventures@berlinct.gov
Camperships
Each year the Berlin Children’s Fund raises money to help provide meaningful summer camp experiences for Berlin children who otherwise couldn’t afford to attend camp. Parenting Programs
Berlin Upbeat and Berlin Youth Services work together to provide workshops and classes for parents in the community to help promote healthy family development.
Needs Assessment and Resource Development
Berlin Youth Services works in collaboration with Upbeat and other town agencies to continuously assess the needs and available services in the community and works to identify resources for providing additional services to fill the gaps.
